Got to minute 15 and gave up, I got the snapping understood but once you started with the grouping of layers again I was overwhelmed and it felt too hard to follow for me rn even with pausing. Maybe naming your layers would help us follow along. I’m gonna search for a more beginner friendly one then try to come back and finish this one!

I’m getting a differential when I manually enter the pixel width 1500 and height 1498, can this interfere with the designs and why can this be happening? (Help).. by the way, I love your instructional videos ❤

I like how the transparent linen texture changes color as it is laid over the colors below it. (e.g. it become a darker pink over the pink, a darker teal over the teal, etc.) Is it possible to get this same look in a vector format?)

Love this video...very clear instruction process. I'm confused on why we need to do the extra step of vectorizing when it has been saved as a rasterized JPEG in the end anyway. Is the final JPEG a higher quality out of the process?

Hello, and first of all, I wanted to thank you so much for your generous videos, I have learned so much from you. I have a question and I know you are busy, but if you have a chance I would love your suggestion. I have made a stamp brush before, and had no problem, but when I make the drawing for the fan template, and paste it, it pastes on a black background instead of the white, and the drawing is super light grey and I can't see it. when I tap to reverse the image so that the background is white , my drawing is super light grey instead of black. I tried to export it into photos and import from there, and that worked but it also was super light grey. I'm sure I must have changed a setting somewhere without realizing it, because I did the exact same thing for another brush stamp a few weeks ago and it worked great. If you have any insights that you can share I would be so grateful.

If people are interested in designing fabric, wallpaper, etc. there is a wonderful company called Spoonflower where you can send your digital designs and have it printed. I’ve printed some of my watercolors.(not Procreate.) on fabric on Spoonflower. Terrific company.

Hi Mel! I tried this with an illustration I did of cherry blossoms on a branch. It's pretty simple, just solid flowers with centers and stamens on a solid branch. I found that once I hit image trace on certain elements, like the lines of the flower stamens they just disappear. Also the smaller elements like the flower center details turn into blobs. I've been playing around in settings but can't seem to make them work. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

I did not understand how you extracted the repeat tile. What calculation you used for drawing the rectangle??? Please help.

Delighted that I found your video on Top 3 Tips for Selling on Spoonflower. I do have one question about entering Design Challenges. I noticed in your file setup, the size is for a fat quarter (21 x 18 inches) and the resolution was set to 300 dpi. Spoonflower recommends design files be set at 150 dpi. Do you submit your Design Challenge entries at 300 or 150 dpi? Always good to check on the details of things. Thanks so much!
